Yet they are 14-2 the last 2 regular seasons in the SEC, with 8 straight road wins. Doesn't say much for the SEC I guess. ...

This is why I'm not really getting wrapped up in the whole "REPLACE MAUK!" and "WE LOOKED TERRIBLE AGAINST ARKANSAS ST. AND UCONN!".
Last year the team looked terrible at times, especially on offense, and still found ways to win the majority of games. Mauk always comes through when it matters ...

Tennessee hasn't shown they can compete with above average DL's in the Butch Jones era. That is what is holding them back more than anything IMO. ...

This game has a very similar feel to Missouri SEC road games the last 2 years.
Most outsiders seem to think the home team will win. Home team slightly favored in Vegas. Missouri comes in and wins. Everyone said Missouri only won because the home team sucks.
I'd expect a similar story Saturd...

I think the biggest difference between the B1G and SEC are those middle and bottom teams though. Look at SEC West schedules. There are no 4 game stretches vs. Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, and Rutgers. You're playing 4 weeks in a row at Texas A&M, vs. Auburn, at Ole Miss, vs. LSU, etc. Multiple g...

The top of the B1G is just fine. Ohio St. can play with anyone, and Michigan St. isn't far behind. Wisconsin is a solid program, and Michigan will get there with Harbaugh.

With Mauk there are OL issues, RB problems, and very young receivers.
Putting Lock in changes none of this. At least Mauk can run some and has proven that he will make plays at key points in the 2nd half. The guy has won 80% of his games as a starter. Chase Daniel won 73%. Obviously the def...
