cas4t, I really don't mean to offend you or anybody who is black/white/indian/asian etc. Everyone was created equal in my eyes. I think the best way to put an end to discrimination is to stop talking about it.
Cam saying what he said out of nowhere for no reason is the opposite and it just makes things worse.

I hate him because he begs for as much media attention as possible until he loses and then he turns into a bitch who can't take a 2 minute interview like a man. Don't compare him to Aaron Rodgers who's celebrations are shorter and less frequent than Cams. Also Rodgers is much more composed after a loss

I do agree that there is an ingrained racism that exist in a lot of the south. That also doesnt mean that someone is a full blown racist because they have some racial tendencies ingrained in them.

I never ever understood the hate of Cam Newton leading up to the Super Bowl
I did, however, understand the hate towards Cam on this board. Auburn fans were insufferable leading to constant bitching between the Gumps and Barn.
Also, it really rubbed me the wrong way how Cam dealt with losing and how he looked to give up when things weren't going his way. Kinda showed he was a petulant child.
Obviously, there are A LOT more important aspects to validate hating a player than what Cam did all season (see Football, Johnny), so I think people are just acting stupid, old, and admittedly a little bit racist.
Not saying people are racist if they simply dislike his antics but, if you don't think that's the root of why some people hate him (especially some posters on TigerDroppings) you are ignorant.

Not going to disagree, because I don't know. But why not use his platform as something positive to bring the different races together instead of separating us even more?

Most people are racist in some way. But it is ridiculous that Cam catches so much flack for his antics considering so many other players act similarly. Imagine if a black athlete had the off the field antics that Gronk does. He'd be eaten alive on the MSB
