Why should we not think that Florida is better than Alabama?

They both blew out Georgia and Florida blew out Ole Miss, a team that Alabama lost to.
Florida has a much better loss than Alabama. Ole Miss was dominated by Memphis, for crying out loud, and and struggled with a very bad Auburn team.
I don't get it. By all comparisons, Florida has the better record.

Florida should definitely be higher than 10. I even agree they should probably edge Bama currently in the polls based off of their season so far. Maybe the committee was taking into account the loss of Will Grier though. And regarding Bama, their ranking will either be justified or it will change based on Saturday's game. Either way, doesn't really matter.

If both teams handle their business they can possibly settle it on the field

Exactly what I was thinking. If UF beast Vandy this weekend we will eventually find out if they are better than Bama or possibly better than the team they lost to....Now way OM gets in the SECCG

I don't have any issues with Bama being ahead of UF at this point. First, I'm OK with the Bama bias as there are enough games left to overcome it and 2nd frick the Vo11s.

LSU fans are easily the whiniest in all of football. I don't understand the reason for this much animosity when there are four games left on the schedule. Had LSU beat Bama with no other losses and Bama was ranked ahead with no games left I could understand but y'all are crying about an irrelevant poll that will not look like this in less than 7 days.

And rankings in week 7 had UF (8) ahead of Bama (10)...that just happened to be the week we lost to LSU, putting us behind again. There isn't a bias being shown for Bama. Their loss came earlier and they've had more time to make up the ranking.

And Alabama fans are easily the most self absorbed. Get over yourself. I do not personally care who is ranked higher. It is an SEC question. Florida has the better resume, by far. That is objectively true and has nothing to do with your assumptions about who says what.

Just looking at rankings...some may disagree.
UF has played 2 ranked (at the time) teams so far, beating #3 Ole Miss and losing to #6 LSU.
Bama has played 4, beating #20 Wisconsin, @ #8 UGA, @ #9 a&m, and losing to #15 Ole Miss.
On paper beating 3 ranked teams while losing to one is better than beating one...and that's the perspective of a Florida fan

Florida did not look as good beating Georgia. The East is weak. Eye test says Bama a more complete team.
