LSU fans just look at box scores, they refuse to acknowledge that an INT by Manziel could be anyone's fault but Manziel's, the coaches today said JaQuay messed up on the play, they also love saying he threw 3 picks in the LSU game last year (box score factual), but fail to mention one bounced right off Mike Evans chest and was not JFF's fault at all, but God help us if actual facts are brought into the discussion

You could say that about every quarterback ever. And there's was his one hail mary that he's lucky wasn't an interception.

Do you mind pumping the brakes for just a bit?

To be fair, I think y'all were in prevent the whole game.

Meanwhile, Manziel set the SEC conference game yardage record, scored 5 TDs and put up more yards on Saban than any TEAM ever has

2001 LSU/Florida game was worse in terms of yardage and I'm sure there are a ton more massacres out there if someone wants to look into this

Florida put up 504 passing yards and 632 yards of total offense (both of which are larger numbers)

LINK

That 2001 Florida team was filthy good but didn't even manage to win their division... and despite early struggles that LSU team turned into an offensive powerhouse, beat Tennessee in teh SEC CCG and then blew out Big 10 Champ Illinois in the Sugar Bowl

Yeah, but you'd think they'd have learned from the LSU game last year -- don't play prevent on the last scoring drive. It almost never ends well.

You misunderstood, Manziel set the record for most yards by a single player in a conference game.

Which makes it even more odd that Saban has adopted it as his new go-to D...

Give Manziel the 2010 Auburn defense and A&M wins that game by 3-4 TDs.

AJ would have still lit them up. Auburn's pass d was atrocious.

I doubt we'll see it used again to any great degree unless they play Oregon in a bowl. And probably not even then, since Oregon has a more diversified running attack and a weaker trench game than A&M.

Actually, just give them Nick Fairley. Although he was about the dirtiest player I've ever seen, he was always good for killing 1-2 drives by himself each game (and Auburn had a lot of close ones that year). aTm doesn't have anyone like that on D - they just needed somebody to force a couple of mistakes on one or two drives.

One, the INT in the endzone was a bad route. The announcers said it, Sumlin said it and the receiver who ran the route said it.

I thought it was a bad play call. Just run the ball. Changed the whole game IMO

This. We were on, what, the 2 or 3 yard line? Give it to Tra Carson and let him grind out 6. Got cute and it cost us. Bama outscored us in points off turnovers 14-7. Otherwise known as the difference in the game.

You need to put the keyboard down and go out for recess more often.

Sorry we don't all cream ourselves over Johnny douche's loss.

Why do LSU fans get to fawn over Mett's performance against Bama last year (a performance which Manziel bested in a single QUARTER on Saturday) and claim one of the biggest moral victories in rant history, but A&M fans cant acknowledge Manziel's legendary performance?

Interesting question, isn't it?
