He put up 42 on Bama.

The pick 6 was a tipped ball near the middle of the field. And any number of aTm players should have tackled the dude before he went 73 yards to the house.

Compare his mistakes to the defense's mistakes. Johnny wins.

wha??

Not in college they aren't. First of all, Tebow had a MUCH better cast. Cam, maybe not... idk. I haven't done a tit for tat on that. But, surely cam hasn't put up the numbers JM did?

Probably Manziel's worst mistake of the day: someone so fleet on his feet should not whiff so badly on a tackle.

I sat there during that whole fricking second half thinking the same thing.

The retards on the TV mentioned it as well. JFF lost some luster last Saturday.

It is what it is. Alabama is known for doing that sort of thing.

Bama almost beat themselves.

This x 1000. It was clear who the better team was, but JFF didn't lose the game. He almost won it because Saban got ultra conservative in the last 8 minutes.

No wonder Mack Brown wanted him to play defense at Texas. JFF would have fit right in.

Correct. My follow up question for you however would be this:

Why do LSU fans get to fawn over Mett's performance against Bama last year (a performance which Manziel bested in a single QUARTER on Saturday) and claim one of the biggest moral victories in rant history, but A&M fans cant acknowledge Manziel's legendary performance?

Yeah, and if TJ Yeldon doesn't fumble, Bama wins easily.

And if he doesn't complete the stupid pass he threw in the second quarter, Bama gets the ball back earlier.

If Bama isn't playing prevent the last drive, he doesn't score so quickly.

If Deion Belue doesn't get hurt, Evans doesn't have half his yards.

Blah, blah, blah

Grow up.

Because BAma fans can't stand to think a "mediocre" qb got one over on them. all hail JFF though...

Tebow and Cam had better defenses.

Give Manziel the 2008 Florida or 2010 Auburn defense and A&M wins that game by 3-4 TDs.

WTF is this guy smoking? Is he talking about JM or Mett? And what's the point EITHER WAY?!

Damn you have some horrible material to hate on Bama fans with.

The Bama CB made a nice play in the endzone, but we got that one back later with the fumble and ensuing 95 yd TD by Mike.

The pick-6, however, pissed me the frick off. It was 2nd and just 1 or 2 yards. Just getting a 1st down and not being greedy against a good defense is something Johnny needs to work on.

Yeah, he could've had him. Although the guys near the end zone were really sad.

dick weed I was talking about Bama not being able to stomach mett doing well. But as soon as a heisman winner does something it's okay. That's why LSU bringing up mett last year is different than JF this year.

I didn't realize many Bama fans wouldn't agree that we nearly earned a loss that day.

Had we lost, we would have been beaten fair and square. All the credit in the world to Mett for that performance.

But let's be serious here and NOT compare Mett and JM, aight?

LSU fans just look at box scores, they refuse to acknowledge that an INT by Manziel could be anyone's fault but Manziel's, the coaches today said JaQuay messed up on the play, they also love saying he threw 3 picks in the LSU game last year (box score factual), but fail to mention one bounced right off Mike Evans chest and was not JFF's fault at all, but God help us if actual facts are brought into the discussion

Against Bama last year Mett had 298 yards passing, -22 yards rushing and 1 TD.

Against Bama on Saturday, Manziel had 464 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and 5 TDs.

And yet LSU fans think it's ok to brag about the former and not the latter.

Most LSU fans couldnt point out Baton Rouge on a map, so I take it with a grain of salt.
