The ATL airport is one of the most consistently bad airports I've been through. Always insanely busy, long lines, frequent delays, etc

Am pretty sure ATL is rated one of the best airports in the world. It also has the most flights, which is convenience for you. Go look at how many flights come in and out of birmingham.

Better idea: we build the new stadium at Piedmont, tear down BDS, and then charge Tech rent to host their pee-wee games there on Thursday nights.

Definitely not Birmingham, but I don't see why it can't be rotated between 3-4 cities.

Atlanta is superior to every other city in the South with respect to hosting the SECCG

Cause you do that and you'll lose ATL to the ACC and it's already very successful in ATL. There is also something to say about continuity

Because once it leaves ATL, it will never be able to return. The ACC will sign a 20 year deal with the quickness.

All of this arguing is moot considering the SEC is happy with ATL and isn't gonna change anytime soon especially with Arthur-world in the works

Pretty much this

And we have now reached the crux of the issue

Even if they only fill half of it the ACC would hold on with a death-grip to ATL

Gets the Sugar Bowl and can't keep the lights on. Also about as far west as anyone would be willing to drive

Literally out of a reasonable driving distance to anyone but UF, and that's still quite a drive.

You think with the stadium in Piedmont some of the folks that live across the street with the colorful flags hanging in front of their homes would come

They would probably cheer pretty well and louder than the current situation

1) LSU is the only one inconvienced and they have the Sugar Bowl
2) Was in JAX and now it's in Charlotte and they'd DIE to have ATL
