Nope, but it's a lot more convenient than Atlanta.

There isn't a damn thing convenient about the whole state of Alabama, let alone Birmingham.

They just had the Super Bowl in Jersey, in February.

How in the world is it more convient than the city with infrastrcture in place for such events, the biggest airport (lick my sack O'Hair) and a better venue

Auburn and Georgia really need to play each other in Atlanta. That would definitely be a fun atmosphere to attend.

And it was a goddamned nightmare. Plus, I don't think Budlight can port it's partyliner nearby.

From bama, i approve this message!

the center of the SEC is somewhere around Bama/Miss border... nothing near there worth anything

I say we start playing our game annually at Grady HS, next to Piedmont Park where the original DSOR was played.

Ive said it a few times, if there was anyway possible to have it in piedmont park to recreate the first game, it would be awesome

The ATL airport is one of the most consistently bad airports I've been through. Always insanely busy, long lines, frequent delays, etc

People might die. Mostly their people. But people nonetheless

Yes it is. At least it was until we decided to add a couple geographic outliers, but they can suck it up.

Atlanta also has a huge airport that makes it easy to get to from everywhere

I know, I know, change is haaaaard.

I've been to the New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, Louisville, Houston, and Dallas airports. The worst one on that list is Houston, and it's not bad at all.

Bitch about Hartsfield all you want but it's the king of airports. All other airports pay homage. It's the alpha and the omega...of airports.

and they were flipping out. I was there the week of. Also, I said prefer, if you noticed. The only reason they had it in NY was because of the promise they made when building the new stadium. if you recall, it was originally supposed to have a roof as well.

Both programs should pour money into a new 50,000 seat stadium for Grady HS

All of this arguing is moot considering the SEC is happy with ATL and isn't gonna change anytime soon especially with Arthur-world in the works

Lets put it back at Legion field. Sure the crowd would be smaller and all fans would be required to have "Muggers" Insurance, but the BBQ sandwiches and turkey drum legs are unbeatable.

Gee, I have noticed the Georgians are ultra sensitive about moving it from Atlanta. Why is that? Should they a lock on this sports event?
