The road schedule has been tough and that is a factor, but losing to A&M at home when you're a 23 point favorite and completely no-showing against UGA were just inexpiable and unacceptable.

I can think of a two game stretch last year for Alabama where they lost a game they were heavily favored and then didn't show up for the next one.

Not turning this into an Alabama sucks/rivalry jab, just saying that even the best coached teams are vulnerable to these things.

While Alabama loses to teams on occasion that they probably shouldn't lose to, Alabama hasn't lost a game since 2008 to a team that finished the season ranked outside the Top 25 (or wasn't ranked in the Top 25 at the time of the game).

Texas A&M is likely ranked with a win over LSU on Saturday. And that would make all of Auburn's losses on the season against teams that finished in the top 25 for the season. Same goes for last year's slate, meaning that Gus has accomplished the same thing in his two years as HC, minus the Texas A&M loss when A&M wasn't ranked at the time of the loss.

Anyways, happy trolling y'all.

I hear you. It happens, but Bama lost to their biggest rival on the road in a way that has never happened before (only 4 times in past 40 years has a missed FG been returned for a TD in CFB, but never on final play of game to win a game). That was a road game against a rival, not a home game as a 23 point favorite. Also, Bama had the ball late in the 4th qtr with a chance to tie OU. Not saying Bama played well (I was there. They didn't), but they didn't get beat by 27 either.

AU is better than they've shown as of late and I'm not sure of the reason why, which is the reason I said inexplicable and unacceptable. Not an AU slam.

If our crappy team is ranked at the end of the season, it will only many that the voters are complete idiots. Beating LSU should not get us into the top 25(and for the record we are not beating LSU)

Mason got the important yards last season. Plus, it seems defenses dont feel CAP is as big of a threat as mason on the read option so they are able to string out marshall on qb runs.
Lastly, my person opinion is that if you are going to play nick marshall, you cant try and run a conventional balanced offense. You have to put the ball in marshall's hands and say go make plays.

Tougher schedule. Loss of two important o linemen. Loss of a great pass rusher with no one to replace him. Turnovers. Penalties.

Last year they got lucky as hell and this year the luck ran dry.

They were an 8-4 team last year and an 8-4 team this year. No difference.

if anything this season proves last years team was not an 8 win team, given how all the personnel losses hurt us. We should be 6 win team this year by yalls logic, and luck actually went against us in a game so far (but for us in another)

A ranter who actually watches games? This is rare.

Seriously, the above plus going from the least penalized to the most penalized team in the SEC hurts.
