How exactly? Your permanent rival in the East is South Carolina and ours is Tennessee. Do you think South Carolina > Tennessee the next 10 years?

Quite frankly, rationally looking at things going forward, the only two schools that should have an issue with Alabama drawing Tennessee instead of their draws are Arkansas and Auburn. And they don't say a peep.

Florida has been awful 4 of the last 5 years. South Carolina is pretty clearly trending down. Kentucky and Vanderbilt are Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Should Florida stop playing South Carolina because they've lost 4 out of the last 5, or because they beat SCe 24 times out of the 28 before that?

I agree, but what we really need are:

4
Super
Conferences

Resulting in a legitimate

4
Team
Playoff

Making the current conversation about SEC scheduling

Not
That
Important

Suddenly? We been doing this since 1992.

Actually, no. In 1992, every SEC team had two permanent rivals. That changed in 2002.

I don't. I have no desire to play either Mississippi school, Texas A&M, Missouri, and South Carolina.

We are only one vote, just out vote us, idiot.

But you bribed Vandy, Ole Miss, State, Kentucky, and Missouri by giving them patsies on their schedule. It was smart, but don't act like the bloc wasn't well constructed.

Why can't we just move UT to the West and send Arkansas to the East?

Besides, Tennessee is becoming a viable program again. You people won't bitch about this when it is a tough game again.

Yeah, the TSIO hasn't been played between two top-ten teams since 1999. Only twice since then have both teams been ranked in the top 25, '02 and '05.

By the time UT gets their feces consolidated, Nick will retire throwing Bama back into the toilet.

"You people" probably won't be alive anymore when these teams meet as top ten teams again.

Spare me. Dodd was sick of the Bear's recruiting 'techniques'. Dodd actually worked for a reputable academic institution.
