Alabama tried to keep Georgia Tech in the conference. The difference is, Tennessee wants to play Bama while Georgia Tech did not. Besides, Tennessee is becoming a viable program again. You people won't bitch about this when it is a tough game again.

I did the math last year and the longest two teams could go without playing each other was 3 years.
