A&M has been really thin in depth until this season. They have been playing with 65-70 scholarship players.
They normally get Arkansas early in the season before players get injured and worn down.

It could be that those teams don't over look Arkansas . MSU could be winning because of coaching , they have similar talent to Arkansas so they may treat it as a much bigger game then the teams with more talent who struggle.

Yeah he'a a SR so he's gone after this year. He and De'Runnya Wilson were a badass combo behind a terrible OL and no running game. That's why Dak didn't run as much and upped his passing game. We're supposed to have a much better OL this year which we will need to take heat off new QB and get back a running game.

Well the Arky RB was stuffed on 4th down in one game.
Edit - I didn't realize you specified 2014 game. Penalties are a bummer. Depends on whether they were forced or unforced.

Ok. How about this? A&M defense much maligned all game. Benefitted from late penalties. But A&M stuffed the key play without penalty when they needed to.

State has had good teams, and we've lost some close games to them. We have absolutely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Aggy the past 2 years, however.

If you go back even into the 90's (except the Croom years after 2000) the Ark / Msu games for most part have come down to the final minute.

Les is known for mental breakdowns. We warned Ol Piss and WI warned us this would happen with Bert. Just like some players, coaches underperform when their is pressure.
