Good grief man learn to read the thread. I said:

quote:

He should be 4-0 against State and A&M over the past two years but has managed to blow all four of them on the last drives of the game in epic fashion.

Now, as I stated previously, show me where Arkansas fans called a comeback win an arse beating.

Its baffling at first glance how a team that mauls LSU loses to MSU and A&M... until you look at some of the other factors.

Last year Arkansas was absolutely dreadful in pass defense. Possibly the worst the team has ever been in our program's history. Both the Aggies and Bulldogs love to chuck the ball around and they both beat us in close games as a result.

When you look at the yards that Auburn and Ole Miss put up on us last year through the air if either of their team's defenses had bothered to show up we drop both of those as well. God bless the Landshart defense.

Arkansas under Bert has trouble defending against spread passing attacks. Teams that either don't or can't unleash that sort of attack on the Hogs generally run into all kinds of pain, hence Arkansas being firmly in cruise control mode over LSU the last two years and crushing an Ole Miss team that was suffering through a Bad Bo day two years ago.

We are a team that is built around making running first teams miserable. Bert and company are going to need to change things up to do better against the pass though or 8 wins is going to be his ceiling in the conference.

My statement:

over the last few years are choke jobs

Last two against A&M have been epic choke jobs though.

Love this play from last year's great game. Also, those should be our permanent away jerseys they look

Good post Suli. Also explains why Bama has struggled against you guys the last couple of years, but their passing game was just good enough to put them over. And their superior defense obv

Ok, but who said that we kicked your arse in 2011? Most of the fans I knew were just glad we escaped that game with a W.

You do realize Cheshire is one of the best posters here, and has no need for an alter, right?

Are you feeling okay, or are you just having fun?

And to answer the OP's question, State and A&M played better when it counted. I was frustrated, but I tip my hat to both teams.

Exactly, Bama has just enough talent that even though our team is built to give them trouble, and we have, they have enough in the tank to beat us. Saban has built a real machine down there.

I think part of why Bama has had to work to put Arkansas away the last two years is that Kiffin loves the home run ball, and if you play up tight on the Bama WRs there is a good chance he'll hit one on you. Arkansas has their DBs play so far off they might as well be in the parking lot which makes the deep pass more difficult to pull off.

Ideally you want to throw some short passes and medium routes over the middle (our LBs are not the fleetest of foot) to bring our safeties and CBs in, and then go over the top.

It was just common fodder when we joined in 2012, you guys would say "we kicked your arse". We'd reply "it was a miracle comeback for the ages"

It has more to do with him cooking over easy/sunny side up eggs for 45 minutes than it does dairy.

It was definitely an amazing comeback/choke job. You guys were more fun to play before you joined the SEC.

It's hard to believe but yes you guys did talk a lot of shite and that was the narrative around here, this is before the whole motorcycle accident. John L just made even your worst trolls more humble.
