Because Alabama is a championship football team and Ole Miss is a racist school.
Once Ole Miss wins multiple championships(which they won't because they don't have Dan Mullins), they'll also be privileged in a similar manner.

Everyone saw how Ole Miss' student body reacted when Obama won again. They rioted and hurled racists remarks all across the youtubes. SEC office absolutely saw all this.

What exactly happened at the Ole Miss riots?
How many people were killed? I heard it was around 3-4 students. The reports in Starkville is that the entire white student population went rabid with rage shortly after the election and went on a racial manhunt throughout campus, killing 3-4 African American students who were unfortunate enough to be caught on campus at that time.
Shortly after, they set fire to a few of the buildings on campus and began to outline racial slurs in flames on the roads leading through the campus before creating a large burning cross in the middle of the grove...then they all brought out their tents and had a tailgating party(because if you can't win the election, you can still win the party amirite?)
I drove around campus when I was at the Eggbowl, but I'm assuming that the national guard had sectioned off the war zone, so I didn't see any of the damage.
