If there's a non-Noon kickoff in the bunch, I'm willing to entertain some arguments

Playing AU anywhere in 2012 was just a hair above a forfeit. I wouldnt complain at this point.

Alabama played at LSU in 1991 and then because of adding USC and Arkansas we had to play at LSU again in 1992. Bama won both times ftr. We have not had the pleasure of hosting them two years in a row and unless weather or something happens, I doubt we will but it's not something I think about often.

Bama had to go to LSU back to back the first time the league expanded. Bama never got that game back, but it's no biggie, since Tiger Stadium is basically a guaranteed win.

If we are so bad then explain to me why it is necessary for you to want 2 weeks off before you play. I know your answer but I would just like to hear it. Thanks in advance.

Dude Auburn can't travel to the same venue 2 years in a row.
Ever seen them in Atlanta b2b?

This post might have been funny if you weren't responding to an UGA fan. UGA has been to the SECCG a whopping 3 times since 1992.

So back to the title...does anyone have any real reason why this injustice is still going on?

I know exactly why. Remember all the whining about UGA and Bama not being scheduled? When the second expansion occurred it was virtually impossible for the SEC to schedule them because both were playing their permanent cross divisional opponents (ut and barn) at home in the same year and then away in the same year.

That was corrected by having UGA play at Auburn in 2013. Meaning that they (Bama and UGA) could be scheduled in 2014. But it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that would never happen because the game would have had to be played at Bama. The whining from Athens would have never ceased had UGA been scheduled to play @ the barn in 2012, @ the barn in 2013, @ Bama in 2014, and @ the barn in 2015. Therefore the SEC waited one more year and scheduled Bama @ UGA in 2015.

If they changed it back, they would be back where they started. Unable to schedule Bama and UGA. Next question?

I shite the bed on that one. Missed 2 when I looked. They have been 5 times, same amount as AU. I retract my previous statement since the 2 years I missed were both backends of UGA going back to back twice.

I fail the internet today...

The AU-UGA game should be moved to September.

All non-division games should be played before division games to build suspense.

Ole miss had to go to Bama as well 2 years in a row from 2012-13, but I think they made it that way because ole miss and auburn were weaker at the time and wouldn't complaon as much if LSU had to go to Tuscaloosa 2 years in a row

Listen a-hole, UGA has been winning most of the games lately so dont bitch about the venues.

This is true, but when we win at Auburn, there's fire hoses, while when we win in Athens, we get to spit on the Barner fans.

We had to play at Jawja in 2015 after we also played there during our last meeting in 2008, not counting the 2012 SEC Title game in Atlanta.

We also had to play at UK twice (2013/2009 with no return game at BAMA in between) and at VU twice (2001/2002). May be another one I missed besides my other post with the Jawja data.
