When it comes to AU fans, usually they have some sort of connection to the school (either they or family attended).
All fan bases have some nut cases, but IMO, this is why bama has more of them.

Because its outside the norm from Bama fans so the trashy behavior stands out. At Auburn is so common, that it is expected from them; therefore, no big deal is made out of their trashy behavior since it is simply seen as their nature.
