Just one of the reasons I quit flying when I retired. Frick all airlines!

And that, folks, is why you use a hard sided case to protect your clubs. Never, ever trust a luggage handler (for lack of better words) to protect your luggage. It doesn't matter if it was Delta, American, United, or Southwest...I'm sure they're all gonna treat them that way.

shite i had a hard case suitcase and when I got it back, the case was broken and looked liek it had been run over by the plane - Delta's response, not responsible.

I have seen them do that with luggage many times - and not just delta all of them. the Airlines have fine print in the wording of the tickets that they are not responsible for damages to your luggage - even if their employees cause it.
