It still wouldn't split the power in the conference. Plus if you put UF and Vandy where they realistically belonged the North would be the worst divisions in the nation.

another reason this works is it allows a 4 team conference playoff, getting rid of one bye week for adding the +1, and give the SECN an additional bonus of 2 more of the best marketable conference games, (this is the point were we say FU CBS, you ain't gettin none).
WTF with a 4 team playoff just to get the Conf. champion?
People are already bitching about having conf. championship games with the new Playoff System.

Because it would offend the entire SEC. If you want it renamed based on that, Upper South and Lower South is as good as you'd get. THAT is the appropriate distinction between us anyway.
