Georgia to the mix while weakening a bit with the addition of Vanderbilt.

You take out Ole Miss & Arky....and add UGA & Vandy..if anything UGA alone makes it more difficult than what it was

That's an upgrade dear sir.

You upgrade a division by getting rid of the only team that has been consistently good since 2000?

then consider a competitive Mizzou, SC, Arkansas, and Ole Miss together in one division.

Do tell, how often does that happen?

Well, Mizzou has certainly been competitive for about 15 straight years (2012 inaugural SEC season excluded).

False. Which is mainly why I am against it. Don't get Ole Miss every year.

Makes no sense. Vandy is pretty much a gimme win.

Arkansas has been bad for about 3 years (post Petrino), but everyone knows that won't last forever. They're on the rise.

Ole Miss can always play the upset.

Vandy almost never plays the upset.

With Ole Miss and Arkansas you have two question mark games. With Georgia and Vandy you have one question mark game and one certain victory.

You make no sense.

damn...that would be a nightmare to figure out.

Really?

Seed the teams based on records...

Division 1:
Team 1
Team 3
Team 5
Team 7
Team 10
Team 12
Team 14

Division 2:
Team 2
Team 4
Team 6
Team 8
Team 9
Team 11
Team 13

Done.

So 1 of 4 teams you mentioned? Seems to prove my point.
By the way, thanks for 2007.

You say the way it is in antiquated so you must be on the cutting edge because no one else but soccer figs in Europe do anything close to what you are suggesting.

With airplanes, travel isn't a big deal anymore. I'm working off of the assumption that divisions are made for balance and not simply geography. I'm on my phone currently so I don't feel like posting the teams, but a standardized seeding system could work.
