Sherman was LSU's 1st president. Back when LSU was in Pinville, and prior to the Civil War.

SEC schedule

FSU and Miami

Seems legit.

That's pretty damn legit. I realize no one nationally gives a shite, but Louisville and Indiana are who Kentucky needs to have permanently. Can't get the Hoosiers to agree to terms.

Slightly.

Asking Georgia to get "fired up" for anything still takes time, apparently, lol.

IU/UK in the Colts stadium every year would be awesome.

I love those SEC vs ACC rivalries. I hope they never drop them.

Come to think of it, everyone in conference has a natural OOC rival except the Alabama and Mississippi schools, Arkansas and LSU. Even then, Arkansas and LSU could pull from the Texas schools or Oklahoma. So really Auburn is in the minority, not the four schools with ACC permanents.

You get to play Georgia Tech every year by laws in your State.

Actually it's not a law. But it's not going anywhere. I don't know about FSU-UF.

Clemson- USC is , and I think they are each required to play an instate lower division as well, i.e. Furman, SC State, PC, and Citadel, etc.

A better question is why doesn't Auburn schedule more than 1 P5 OOC game. That's what's ridiculous.

We don't get the luxury of playing in the weak SEC East. We're playing arky, msu and tamu while you're playing vandy, kentucky and mizzou. And that's ignoring the shitshow that has been UT and UF recently compared to bama and lsu.

You sir are either an imbecile or drunk...for the benefit of doubt I assume you are the former...not the latter.

Whatz a matter...tired of getting beat by Bama? Older UF fans werent happy that we both had to discontinue the long history of playing AU home and away...but grow up..things change in life. You now get to play Bama, LSU, Arkies, A&M, Ole Miss and Moo State and rotate one east and your permanent east rival is UGA...so you get to play 2 damn east schools each year. WTF is wrong?

Clearly he wants to play Vandy more often. That usually works out well for them of late, right? Had no idea that Vandy actually holds the lead in that series...

That's right, I forgot Vanderbilt is on a winning streak against Auburn and actually leads the series.

For the sake of the SEC?

I know. Why else would Auburn want to end the OLDEST RIVALRY in the South over some stupid schedule rotation.
Oh wait, THEY'RE PART of that Rivalry!

You get to play Georgia Tech every year by laws in your State.

But you will complain if the SEC went to a 9-game conference schedule because it would put Georgia at a "disadvantage".

A bit unfair, don't you think?

& Florida with Fl. State, SC with Clemson, & Kentucky with Louisville.
It seems that 4 of the 7 in the East object to dropping that in-state game....which the West can start doing. Funny how it's ALWAYS the East's fault for in-state games.

I knew y'all dropped Miami, I didn't realize they played Clemson annually. I'd like to see both of those match ups back in rotation. Plenty of great possibilities there.

Negotiations to play Miami again annually have been going on for awhile. The problem is Foley wants it at a neutral site (which makes fiscal sense) and they only want a h&h.
Of course people would still complain about our schedule since we never leave the state for OOC games.

Edit: We're scheduled to open 2019 against them in Orlando.

& what's wrong with H/H? You're in the same state!

& all that has WHAT to do with a non-conf. P5 opponent?
