When the SEC decided in the spring of 87 to add another conference game. We stopped playing Miami and they stopped playing Clemson.

I knew y'all dropped Miami, I didn't realize they played Clemson annually. I'd like to see both of those match ups back in rotation. Plenty of great possibilities there.

He's talking about OOC rivalry. Those three schools don't want an extra sec game because of their OOC slate already.

You get to play Georgia Tech every year by laws in your State.
But you will complain if the SEC went to a 9-game conference schedule because it would put Georgia at a "disadvantage".
A bit unfair, don't you think?
No we wouldnt complain because every SEC school is required to have a Big 5 OOC game. I do understand why you want UGA to drop AU though. Makes you a pussy.

Negotiations to play Miami again annually have been going on for awhile. The problem is Foley wants it at a neutral site (which makes fiscal sense) and they only want a h&h.
Of course people would still complain about our schedule since we never leave the state for OOC games.
Edit: We're scheduled to open 2019 against them in Orlando.

No. I want you to play Auburn, LSU, and Bama...MORE!
In addition to playing Oregon, California, Kansas State and Clemson.

We kept playing Auburn through 02. There used to be 2 permanent cross divisional opponents.

I knew that. I was just thinking that they also got dropped "for the sake of the conference"

Why would you want UGA to play AU more considering our ownership of your program?

Hilarious coming from an Auburn fan.

We play Auburn every year, unfortunately for Auburn. UGA has way more history with GT and Clemson than Bama or LSU.

Just imagine if LSU/UGA had a rivalry trophy. It'd probably be a trophy of Sherman.
We can build a new stadium in Savannah, and each year have a huge bonfire before the game.
Too far?

Why would we play for a trophy of a war criminal?

I swear, it's like you and AU24 have a competition on troll threads every evening.
