We settle for top 10-15 finishes yearly instead of taking a risk of turning into a dumpster fire like UT.

based on just that...they are making changes to try and improve...albeit questionable hires. I'll add UGA is a better job as well. I just think UGA could be so much better with someone else.

the amount of time wasted by that loser to continue creating new email addresses (and whatever method it takes to change your IP address, since I have no clue how to do that) is just staggering. I truly wonder if he is on some sort of government assistance. Surely he doesn't have any sort of job with responsibilities, and there's no way he has any friends.

yeah, and it's easy to say it's time for a change when you go .500 every year. The decision is practically made for youl. I assure you if we had a 3 or 4 year stretch of 5-7 or 6-6 richt wouldn't be here anymore.

And THAT is our problem...he's way too good to be in the same realm as the dooleys and butches but he's not nearly as good as the sabans and meyers. He's in the real good but not great category. But again, our fans don't make that call...our AD does. So not sure what any of us have to do with it.

Yet another talking point that people say and don't support with facts. Ok, we fire richt. Then what? Dooley left in the late 80s and we got a bumbling oaf as our coach. After he was fired the best we could do was a guy from a 1AA school. After he was fired the best we could do was a first year head coach who had been an OC the last 10 years.

UGA is a 12-15ish program of all time. We have a lot of resources but we aren't just automatically going to get a saban/meyer/harbaugh in here simply because we're Georgia. It's far more likely we get someone worse than richt than someone better.

Richt will finish as one of UGA's best coaches. I'm not sure why UGA fans should expect better. They may wish they could build a dynasty, but so do a lot of programs. Historically, UGA is doing about what they usually do. They are what they are, and they aren't Alabama.

I get all that...but at some point you have to be upset that y'all continually crap the bed in big games and finish in the middle of the pack (top 25).

I understand the grass isn't always greener but at a school like UGA, I'd take that chance.

Patterson and Whittingham imo would be better.

UT has made some stupid hires, but the talent is there where the right coaching hire could have them in the national championship in 2-3 years. Similar to Alabama and Florida. Hell even Auburn to an extent, although I'm not comparing chiz or Gus to Saban or Meyer. Just saying there can be some success to making change with the right players, which UGA has plenty of.

1)It's not like it was a real tough code to crack
2)As shitty of a poster he is it doesn't matter what the username is, it'll always be obvious after a post or two

They can't afford to fire Botch for 2 more years, UT's recruiting is already fading compared to the last 2 years & it's only gonna get worse as other coaches use the divided fanbase & rumors against them. By the time they can afford to get rid of him their recruiting will be back in the tank...

Yes, but while I assume many UGA fans would opt for the Auburn title/title appearance roller coaster over solid seasons without championships, some may not. And more may realize that sometimes there isn't a rebound (Tennessee).

I'd trade with AU in a heartbeat. I'm nervous as hell that we'd turn into UT (either of them).

This is consistently the dumbest thing any fan can say about another program and it's fan base.
