Again you moron they lost to a team that is ranked 9th. Geez you act like they lost to Auburn..... At home.

If they had lost at home to say UT or USCe nobody would say anything but the fact is A&M is legit while Baylor quite frankly is not.

Triple OT and the rest of the country had 2 losses except for Ohio State.

08 Florida? Seriously? They lost by 1 to a pretty good Ole Miss team who kicked the shite out of Texas Tech a team previously number 1

I think the consistent argument is that Alabama struggled against the only two decent teams they played, which would be Texas A&M and LSU. So why would they be a lock to beat Kansas State or Oregon?

Having watched both Bama and UF play, that is not a game I would be interested in seeing. Bama/UGA vs Notre Dame or whoever would be much more interesting than another SEC/SEC matchup

How many national championships have we won in a row? We own college football.

And this is the problem with college football because teams are ranked where they are based on reputation and recent history from previous seasons which puts teams outside the SEC in a disadvantage from the beginning. Every year the SEC teams get in championship games over teams with identical records because of PERCEIVED strength.

Orealy? Didn't Oregon,Texas,Ohio St all have a chance to beat the SEC? Who else wants to step up and give it their best shot? THAT is not perceived strength, that is dominance. Sounds like your just butthurt

Honestly Bama might lose to Georgia.

Oregon struggled against Stanford a team that has a similar style to all 3 SEC teams. Plus it shows that given time to scheme. Oregon can be shut down. Kansas State would get run off the field they just do not impress.

Honestly Notre Dame has the best shot at defeating UGA/Bama. But if they can't get it done they don't deserve it. A loss to a team ranked 3rd would look better than a loss to a team ranked 22 or 21.

So because of 6 in a row only undefeated teams from other conferences are allowed in the NC otherwise the SEC gets two teams?

This is not a biased opinion I watch a shite load of football from every conference I love the sport. To compare any conference to the SEC is laughable literally the top 6 would beat any other conferences top 3 teams 9/10 times the only teams I give a chance are Oregon or ND beating a beat up south Carolina and even that is a stretch debate if you want but nothing is PERCEIVED STRENGTH it proven and known around the world how good the Sec is go somewhere else if you wish to debate something with your other shitty conferences ...I say good day

Hilarious. In the past week or so we have had two threads about the SEC being "down" and they were started by an Arkansas fan and an Auburn fan.

The game itself was shite but we still had a chance to tie on our last possession. No one looked good in that game.

So do several other teams coupled with Mississippi State making a strong push for the Conference USA title before being completely exposed and Vandy going 8-4 which has never happened in the modern era and you can't argus that the SEC is as good as its previously been

Oh so should those wins in those NCG's help SEC SOS in 2012? Interesting theory

No it just so happens that when the SEC teams lost it was early in the year with a chance to redeem. While the other two maybe 3 would have lost in the last 2 weeks of the season, if Oregon would have lost in week 6 or 7, they are number 3 no doubt

Lost by 8 and were driving to maybe tie it up after 6 turnovers = crushed. At least UF beat the all of the noobs. 1-1 against the noobs for Bama
