I'll still troll your retards, but I try to be objective here. I'd rather see a robust college football atmosphere in Mississippi, so why not have State be good? Whats the fun in beating your rival when they win 2 or 3 games a year?
Good posters/fans like you, NIH, Cdawg, ect. should enjoy what you have now. It seems like just yesterday Ole Miss was blowing Texas Tech right out of the Cotton Bowl.

The correct answer is who cares what the Rant thinks. If you made this thread for approval, you aren't going to get it, even if it was a blatant truth.
I'm happy he is State's coach, and I'm happy for the 6-0 record (I don't care who we've played).

I think he's a good coach. I thought ya'll got a steal when you hired him, but, there you have the Mississippi State dilemma - if a guy is successful there, ya'll don't quite have enough of... really anything.... to keep other schools from poaching him.
I say this as a friend of the program - Mississippi State is my second favorite SEC school - you're damned if you do - damned if you don't. IF we don't win the SEC, I'd rather ya'll do it. Good luck.

Come back here and brag about being in the top 15 after bama, lsu and arkansas and then we might be impressed. Keep in mind that top 15 finish in 03 was at the end of the year. You just set yourself up for an epic fail.
Also you are comparing a qb to a coach. still not sure what you are trying to prove with those stats.

You can't earn respect when you have a fourth down play from the one with the game on the line, you have Dixon and Ducre, and you chose to put the game in the hands of your 5"4' walk on QB.
Or you have 8 seconds left and if you pass you get two shots to tie the game but if you run the option you get one and a sure loss. If you pick running the option, you can't be respected.
In short, when coaching ACTUALLY matters, he is absentee.

You were #19 in the final bcs standings in 2003. You peaked at #15 in mid November. I simply took the best single WEEK in your history in the BCS poll.
