Part of being a coach is player development. You said y'all had shitty defenses in 2001 and 2003 but you said those same players were part of an elite defense in 2003.

No, I didn't. I said the players that were there in 99 became starters/contributors on the 2001 SEC title team. I never correlated 99 and 2003.

Nick brought up LSU's football program and without him they would be lucky to have more then four winning seasons in a decade, yet they hate him. Nick Saban saved the LSU football program and they still hate him. Bringing the first championship to Baton Rouge since 1958.

Dude, Nick Saban has not been on an LSU sideline in TEN YEARS. Do you realize that????

Furthermore, most of the players that Miles "inherited" from Saban sat on the bench and did not play a lot until Miles came to BR.
He came in cold, not knowing (let alone recruiting) 100 kids, led them through the Katrina triage on campus, and then proceeded to lead LSU to the SECCG, while playing TWELVE CONSECUTIVE GAMES WITHOUT A BYE, destroying Da U in the bowl game, and finishing 5th in the nation.

decade with less than four winning seasons - the 1990s. And even in that one, we were 54-58, right under 500.

They won 27 games and 3 straight bowl wins in '95, '96, and '97
