Playing a fired up Mizz team in their first SEC game on the road missing 5 startes was a good win. Injuries and the SEC grind has made that team not as good as it was then...

Beating a pretty good Vandy team 48-3 was a good win.

Whipping Ole Miss the way they did was a good win.

Of course, the dominating D against UF was impressive along with our RBs getting tough yards was good.

The KY and USC games were bad games. No way around that...

Georgia was a few Honey Badger's away from winning against LSU's GOAT team last year. They could very well win against any team in the nation.

21-0. I'll save your breath for you, Gumps.

What i meant was that a month ago i thought Bama was much better than it turned out we are. I know UGA will bring it vs Bama.

THIS is going to be the real BCSCG!

Yeah, you both are probably right....I like it when you really are clicking on the no-huddle and the defenses are struggling to get lined up...it can happen before anyone notices.

Georgia has a chance in the SEC Championship game mainly because they are in it ? That is 2 in a row or a repeat of SEC East. If Tx AM can beat Bama and LSU can play them Dead even for 57.5 minutes, UGA has better than a punchers chance.

Four or more SEC teams could beat ND, if they were in the SEC they would not be in the SEC Championship Game.

Our Defense is finally playing to its potential. Our defense is a lot better than it was the first few games because everyones playing together now. Shawn Williams finally got this team playing, and remember, we still have Jarvis MF Jones.

Curious, who do you consider UGA's second best win after Fla?
Hopefully it will be Bama.

UGA thought they had a chance last year too, but they were wrong - just like this year.

UGA has a great shot at beating Bama. That said, the comment about UGA having the edge at QB and WR is just plain wrong. They both have almost identical passer ratings, and while AM has more TD passes he has also tossed four times as many INT's. He makes big plays but is a liability, where as AJ is very dependable with a remarkable 21/2 TD to INT ratio. UGA also lost it's top two WR's... and Amari Cooper is without question the best WR who will be on the field that night, and then you throw in veteran guys who are productive like Norwood, Bell and Christion Jones and at best for UGA those two positions are a wash.

I think our OL gives us the edge on offense since all other units are a push. On D I'd give Bama a slight edge on DL, UGA a slight edge at LB because of JJ and Bama a slight edge in the secondary due to having a 1st round corner in Milliner and an ALL-SEC senior safety in Lester.

I'd also give Bama a slight edge in special teams. So everything is a push with Bama just having a couple of slight edges. I think it will be a 23-17 type game...very close either way. I like Bama in a very close one.

I'm not arguing either way, but UGA has 2 first round picks at LB this year and Big John Jenkins at nose this year.

I am not predicting a UGA win at this point. However, if anyone does not believe UGA has a real shot at beating Alabama they are not watching the games.

Winning a ball game is not always about who the best team is but about the crucial matchups. This Georgia team gives Alabama some serious issues to address.

First is their defense. Georgia's front seven is very very good. With the rise of Jordan Jenkins, the Bulldogs have two great pass rushers with two solid 350 NT they rotate. People point to earlier in the season-- don't-- its a mistake. Because of the suspensions, this team not only had four players missing early....they also had a hobbled Jarvis Jones and three players playing out of position. This is no longer the case. It took a few games to get their rhythm but it is there now. The first team defense has only gave up 2 touchdowns in four games. Compare the boxscores of Ole Miss versus LSU, Alabama, and Georgia. This defense is legit and has 2 NFL safety's in the back.

Secondly, Alabama's defense has been great this season....against teams with no passing quarterback. In the end, this game will come down to the pressure Alabama can get on Murray. He will pick them apart if he is comfortable.

I would say both MSU and OM have decent passing QB's and we did fine. WE got pressure on Johnny Football, but the guy is a freak...he would either take off for 20 yards or scramble around and hit a guy on the run. No offense, but Murray will not do that against us and the truth of it is, after the 1st qtr Bama adjusted and held Johhny Football to 9 points the last 3 quarters. Now Mett, picked us apart, but we also got to him a good bit and did enough to hold them to 17 points and win the game. That's all we need to do against UGA and Murray too...limit the damage and win a close one in the end. Should be a good game.

Jury is out on MSU but Robinson is not even an adequate passer in my opinion. However, I don't think Alabama is a bad defense when they face passing qbs...just not great.

The matchup I want to see is when UGA goes 4 wide with Gurley in the back field. They don't spend enough time in it in my opinion.

Same goes for their opponent.

who would that be,LSU Another moral victory?

Bama shoulda arguably won every game, including A&M,even though they fell behind 20-0. I don't recall bama getting blown out 35-7 any time in recent years.Nor did LSU,January 9th notwithstganding. If GA was that damn good, they woulda made a showing of some kind. Never happened. THey were NEVER in the USC game. Cry me a river
