I think Murray is ranked #22 in passing efficiency and McCarron is ranked #61. It's hard to consider yardage with the receivers since Murray uses so many different ones.

Murray is one in passer ratting.
McCarron is three.

I'd be willing to conside the qb position despite the fact that aj has only played in the second half in two game.

But I like our receivers more.

That can change in a hurry. McCarron was ranked #1 a few weeks ago. I don't really see either team having a distinctive edge at QB.

The ratings I used for all Div-1 schools, not just the SEC.

Rhett McGowan doesn't play much other than to fair catch punt returns.

Malcolm Mitchell, Tavarres King and Chris Conley are the top 3 WRs in the rotation and Bobo has gotten creative and started putting Jay Rome (TE) in the slot. Big kid with good physical skills, much better receiver than blocker. Murray is usually very good when he has time and terrible when he doesn't. Bama doesn't get a ton of sacks, so if the OL plays well, Murray has a chance to play well.

Tavarres King, Chris Conley, Rantavious Wooten. Malcolm Mitchell, Rhett McGowan( former walk-on), and J Scott Wesley are the main receivers. You will also see both Arthur Lynch and Jay Rome as TEs going out in pass formations. Murray will often throw to Marshall and Gurley and even Xander Ogletree out of the backfield. Occ see Brandon Smith on Offense.

mitchell and king are a pretty formidable duo, especially if the running game is working.

McCarron actually was ranked #1 in the nation at one point I believe. That's why his name started getting mentioned for the Heisman. That boat has obviously sailed.

Sorry, your team must at least be bowl eligible to get into this discussion. Thanks for playing! Now go home little piggie. Go watch that video of that hideous woman singing the Piggie national anthem and tweezer your baby dick.

Chris Conley - soph
Tavares King - sr
Scott-Wesley = rsfr (started playing when Brown was hurt)
Rantavius Wooten - jr
Malcolm Mitchell - soph
Rhett McGowan - jr

These guys all get significant playing time...

the white guy (I think is a TE)

One thing I would like to see is that "wildcat" formation with B. Smith as QB...

Plus, CMR has really taught Murray how to sell that play action. I haven't seen anyone as good as Murray hiding the ball in a very long time...

I give CMR the credit for that and not Bobo, cause FSU did that alot when CMR was OC there.

I personally hate it. It is too predictable and the wildcat only truly works when the player taking the snap is a threat to pass out of it as well, like McFadden at Arkansas. Every time Smith takes a snap, it is gonna be a QB sweep left or QB sweep right. Bama is too disciplined for that to work.

yeah i dont think the wildcat will be successful against bama.

i really cant remember the last time i saw the wildcat be successful against anyone. defenses have caught on now and players are more prepared than ever for that.

Curious, who do you consider UGA's second best win after Fla?

Don't get me wrong UGA has definitely played an easy schedule, it's just that bama has too. Essentially both teams have played 2 teams that ever had any chance to beat them and they are both 1-1 in those games. You can say teams like Ole Miss and Miss St. are "decent" but neither of those teams would ever beat UGA or UA.

How can anyone honestly have watched the Bama games against LSU/A&M and still think Bama is some unbeatable team? Outside of Bama fans I would think most people that watched the games would think they should have lost both. They stole one in Deatg Valley and now find themselves in the big game. The top 6 in the SEC are a pretty equal group in general and any one could beat a team in the group any weekend.

The two teams in the game are the teams with the easiest schedules of the six. That is the reality of the situation. The idea this game is not a toss up is ridiculous.

Honestly, it is aggravating to see UF with wins currently over 3 top SEC teams and a close loss to another top team not sitting at #2 spot. The SEC scheduling is a bunch of shite and it is ridiculous how bias it is.

If you had asked me a month ago i would have said UGA would have no chance. Now that Bama has been shown to be human i think this will be a really good game and UGA has a good chance to win it. Looking forward to it. We will find out if Bama has what it takes this year in this game.

PS-UGA would kill ND.

How is it biased? It goes on rotations. UGA and Alabama got the best scheduling rotation this year. Next year South Carolina gets it from the East. These things are cyclical. Glad UGA took advantage of it.
