Why do LSU think they can do better than Les?

Saban took them to the pinnacle against a weak cfb world but it was les that dominated when the SEC was at it's highest. Without Les, LSU is an also ran fighting for bowl eligibility. I guess they want to pay $30M+ to return to the days of darkness. LSU fans need a humbling and just like UT it will be a long dark journey with only themselves to blame.

Maybe we should hire Muschamp because he was so much better than Urban, huh?

recruits, facilities, great fan base, rich booster, and a willingness to pay for a top flight coach.

Same reason they also thought they'd win the title this year.

I completely agree. These revisionist fans that want to act like they have always been the pinnacle program are about to get a blast from the past.

if mcelwain left would you want les? so many fanbases here defend left but none want him to be their coach.

It's gotta be nice for a coach that your fans never see your team lose. Really takes the pressure off

You do realize that's the outlier, not the norm, right?

Press release: "Head Coach Les Miles has been relieved of his coaching duties. In his place will be acting head coach [Ed Orgeron, Cam Cameron, or Kevin Steele - insert your favorite fear inducing assistant here]."

For anyone who doesn't, it's pretty much what A&M has been since the 90's

Fair enough. I do hate it when people judge our history based on the Fran/Sherman years.
