No deflection here, scooter. I was just pointing out that the term "3rd string" implied much less than what the kid is/was during his time on the field. We kicked Dak's arse all over Bryant-Denny, but couldn't handle this guy..understand now?

theres no such thing as overachieving in conference play.
looking at ooc bowls, it looks like alabama did exactly what they should have. secw just wasnt as good as we thought top to bottom.

3rd string implied that he is not an elite or experienced QB. Bama let that QB kick yalls arse all over a neutral field.

I'm sure you predicted for Bama to win the SEC, huh? All Bama fans heard was they were a 3-4 loss team. Especially after Ole Miss. Personally, I'd just say they fell short, but achieved a lot. Roll Tide.

This is correct statement. Recruiting rankings are hit and miss. Ole Miss and LSU had more talented defenses than Alabama this season.

The consensus here was that Bama was going to cruise in and win a national championship. I love that an SEC championship is a consolation prize this year.
