Cause they did. Lost 1 game in the regular season, beat all of our rivals, and won sec championship. We had some magic in a few games during the regular season, but this is the team we knew we had going into the year with some definite weak spots. I enjoyed the hell out of this season though. Roll tide.

They lost. According to bama standads they don't deserve squat.

With all the losses on "O" the tide "D" will need to pith a shutout almost every game for bama to win.

I haven't really seen anyone "insist" as you overemphasize, but their is a lot of truth in that. LSU fans will say we should have lost to them and Arkansas. We won them both so yeah, we overachieved by that standard.

Yep, it what that talent does once on campus that makes them champions. It's all the extra hours those great SEC teams/players put in that made them complete champions during the killer run. Many in the SEC these days think the SEC patch on their arms is enough, but they're learning a good lesson. It's not enough, it takes the extra effort too....

I think by Bama standards they are right to think they overachieved as this team was flawed in a few areas and simply not as good as some of their recent teams.
There is no shame in viewing it that way as they overcame some of their issues and still won the SEC. More than I can say for my team.....
