Bo doesn't even come close according to stats Herschel Vs Bo Stats

Odd how in that article they do not mention yards per carry. Or number of carrer carries, or carries per seadom. Or yards after contact. Or many other stats other that total yards.

Well herschel also led his team to a national title. That's another accomplishment in his favor. Idk who I would choose, I really believe it is a wash. It's 6 in one hand and half a dozen in the other. If you were ever in the position to hve to choose between them to have as your rb, then you are in a great spot, and really can't go wrong either way. It's just too close to call imo. Both of them were 2 of the best runningbacks of all time and not much separates them either way. Just too close to call, from a non-biased perspective.

1983 Auburn football team with Bo was as good as anyone in the country..

It's real simple. In college, Bo was a home run threat and Herschel was a workhorse. In the NFL, Bo was a Superstar and Herschel ended up returning kicks for the Cowboys.

Need to include the asterisks by Bo.

*when not injured

Hard to be a star sitting on the sidelines

Yeah, like I said, idk who I would choose as a college rb for my team. Flip a coin, lol. They were both great rbs and you couldn't go wrong either way. As an overall athlete, bo wins for sure...bc bo frickin knows.

You got jokes I see

Apparently looking at the vote tally, only one person here has a sense of humor. They were great, but not goats.

But if I added them, then the joke would've been too obvious.

Sure you can use that excuse, but that does change the fact that Herschel led his team to 2 NCs and is better than Boo

All Around Athlete to me means a player who excels playing multiple sports. Walker was a great College athlete and so to was Bo.
However Bo was the better All Around Athlete due to him excelling in both football and baseball at the professional level.

How sad is it that Herschel is the only thing Georgia has to brag about.

I think Bo and Herschel needs to meet at the nearest Sonic, and have a UFC fight night to settle this once and for all..

Not sure we want that. Doesn't Herschel have some kind of martial arts background?

I mean he was a better all around athlete, I will give you guys that, However experts say that Herschel is the number one college athlete over the past 50 years.

Because people watched them both play.

No doubt Herschel was the more productive back, and I'm way beyond caring too much who is the best college back, who is the better all time athlete, etc.

The answer to your question is that many, including but not limited to Auburn fans, see it with Bo ahead because they watched them both and Bo was the more jaw dropping player.

Bo 6'1" 220 ran a electronic timed 40 at 4.13, a few scouts had a hand timed 40 of 3.9
