Just curious why they didnt storm the floor, this was a HUGE win considering losing 4 of their players. I know class may have not been in session but im sure there were a good number of students there at the game.

Call me crazy, but If I was a Tennessee Student and we just beat the top ranked team in the nation, Id be on the floor celebrating with the team.

Cause they are ranked #14, and been @ the top before, so I'm glad they didn't.

Like I said in another thread - great gutsy performance by Tennessee. Great SEC win.

You don't storm the floor if you've ever been on top.

Arkansas is at it's lowest point in its existence and we would NEVER, under any circumstance, storm the court.

It's just how it works.

If you're ULM you storm the floor, not #16 Tennessee. Tennessee is already a good team. They don't need to do this. They had a chance to win this game from the beginning.

It shows that they believe they belong, which is a great mindset for a fanbase.

This. I actually expected the court to be rushed, but was pleasantly surprised that they didn't. It shows how far the basketball program has come. It's a good win, but how they respond will be key. It was a good win for a conference that had some bad losses, I suppiose.

That and its a 5 to 10 thousand dollar fine if fans end up on the court after a game. Tennessee's gotta save that money for lawyer fees.

Because they will get fined by the SEC. Vandy got fined $25,000 for students storming the court after beating #1 ranked Florida at home. LINK

quote:

The policy, approved by all 12 SEC institutions, imposes financial penalties for violations in the sports of football, men's and women's basketball, at the discretion of the Commissioner. Institutional penalties range from $5,000 for a first offense to fines of up to $25,000 for a second offense and up to $50,000 for a third and subsequent offenses.

If you weren't a fan of a shitty program, you'd understand. Sometimes us big boys act like we've been there before.
