Because we like to talk bsketball sometimes and it rarely gets talked about on this site and a state guy started the thread.

Ok, fair enough

Trust me, I don't mind talking basketball, I was just curious.

FWIW I was at the game last night and in the corner below the student section there was a crowd that formed to storm the floor. The announcers came on, as usual, and made the threat of arrest and losing ticket privileges to anyone caught trespassing on the court. When the horn blew one guy ran out onto the floor and jumped around with the players but quickly he realized he was running solo. He came back to the side with some encouragement from the suits but the threat of trespassing was enough
The SEC is very serious about fans storming the court in any sport. They have heavy fines for the violating school and I think it escalates for each event. Florida police are like Gestapo and they warn you after each game to not attempt to get on the field. I've seen at football games, cops on horses lined up all around the field, so you wouldn't even want to attempt the get out there. I saw a guy one time try to rush the field and he got tackled by about 4 cops and they beat the hell out of him in front of thousands of people. Then they dragged him out and he looked unconscious. That just about did it for me on the storming the field thing.
