Um. It's not all that complicated he didn't have any work-life balance (seriously he lost like 40 pounds during the 2009 season and collapsed after the SEC championship game- the whole season was sloppy because he was breaking down during it) he tried to quit, Foley asked him back, he trounced and tried to do it halfway, a realized that wasn't doable, quit, realized he couldn't live retired and came back with a better overall balance.

Everything about Meyer's tenure at UF tells of a man who worked way, way too hard- hell he was even a hard arse disciplinarian ala Boom prior to the Atkins tragedy which scared him into giving kids 3rd and 4th chances.

Kind of how I feel. I wondered what the loss to MSU last year in the B1G Championship game would do to him. He seems to finally understand even if you have all the talent and you coach them up, kids are kids and will never be perfect.

How many programs would take what Meyer did for them from 2005-2009, even if it took you 8 years to rebuild it? 2 National Titles? I mean only Bama fans could be unhappy with that, and even they would have happily taken that if you asked them in 2006

bullshite, Saban could rape kill and eat a busload of kindergarten girls and nothing would happen to him, and the Gators fired a two time NC coach over that.

WTF does this mean?

When was he fired?

But good riddance, he couldn't handle being not as good as Saban, and he destroyed the program with the favoritism he played with the players. Plus the inmates were running the asylum. See Aaron Hernandez.
