You know, that started by SC doing the same thing UGA did. Taunting the players coming down the hill. Both teams that did that lost, only one ended up in a brawl. Because that's what a real rivalry is.

So...you are saying that Spurrier allowed your players to do the same thing?

Obviously a mistake on our part. I don't like to see any teams do this kind of thing. Lack of class. Looking back, I'm sure it wouldn't happen again. Hindsight is 20/20. Sometimes things that seem like a good idea...just aren't!

Football players and teams and coaches sometimes do things to try to get inside the other teams heads. Mess with them. make them think about something other than the game. It's a part of football I never cared for.

Spurrier wasn't our coach in 2004.

actually a WIN is backing it up, you loss buddy!!

Right. How dare UGA players do this knowing that they would botch a field goal a few hours later! They should have had the foresight to know that they were going to loss a close game!

Before you go "Holier than thou" on us.

A few years ago there were some Georgia fans standing in the bleachers after the game with Auburn at Auburn. (We had won the game) The television cameras was panning across the stadium while the announcers were wrapping it up. Somebody from Auburn turned on water canons and aimed them at the fans. It knocked a couple of the women all over the stands. They were adults standing there calmly talking...NOT students vandalizing anything.

But I guess it was Auburn. Is anyone surprised?

Oh. I didn't know when it happened. And..honestly, it really didn't sound like Spurrier. Joe Morrison, I guess? Anyway...it WAS South Carolina...

He WAS your coach...just saying it is too easy to point fingers when EVERY school here has done things they regret.

That's what happens when you get to the stadium, then get back on a bus because it's "emotional".

Hey Tyler, sorry about the lost last night. Im sure it stings. You should have just came up to the Dome like some of your fellow alumni did. Buckhead was rowdier than usual. Oh and I wouldnt be too discouraged about the season , Richt was obviously emotional and fired up after the loss, his "awww shucks, we just ran outta time. Oh well" speach was filled with piss and fire. It was moving.

Haven't laughed that hard in a minute.
