Try sitting around for a huge game while the home team takes 5 minutes to load buses on one side of the stadium, drive around to the OTHER side of the stadium, pile up at the top of the hill for some really lame grand entrance, and pour down a hill while a bunch of balloons are released.
But I do agree that its a lame entrance. Different and unique (for the most part)? Sure. Overhyped and underwhelming in person? Absolutely.

Hey Tyler, sorry about the lost last night. Im sure it stings. You should have just came up to the Dome like some of your fellow alumni did. Buckhead was rowdier than usual.
Oh and I wouldnt be too discouraged about the season , Richt was obviously emotional and fired up after the loss, his "awww shucks, we just ran outta time. Oh well" speach was filled with piss and fire. It was moving.

It's an apparent inconsistency that goes back to Mark's tenure as OC under Bobby Bowden. Bowden too was/is a devout Christian but he also encouraged wide-open play on his teams which led to undisciplined attitudes. Both Bowden's teams and Richt's teams are among the most penalized teams in college football.
