Why did Richt allow his players to taunt Clemson as they ran down the hill?

It sure got Clemson fired up. Even after the win, Clemson fans are talking about how disrespectful it was. They even called Mark Richt a scumbag sleazy coach, bringing up the Florida endzone celebration a few years back.
It was pretty much saying "Hey, here's some extra motivation if you want it!".

Try sitting around for a huge game while the home team takes 5 minutes to load buses on one side of the stadium, drive around to the OTHER side of the stadium, pile up at the top of the hill for some really lame grand entrance, and pour down a hill while a bunch of balloons are released.
These guys have been waiting for this kickoff since last January. I'd be talking shite and wanting to go too. Judging by the score, I'd say that a failure to score a TD and botched FG attempt had more to do with the loss than motivating Clemson.

Richt has always been a POS. he just hides behind the good ol boy image like Bobby Bowden did.

I'll wait while you show me where I said it the was reason UGA lost. My point is there was no need to give Clemson anything else to use. It didn't help in any way, now they just look foolish.

You know, that started by SC doing the same thing UGA did. Taunting the players coming down the hill. Both teams that did that lost, only one ended up in a brawl. Because that's what a real rivalry is.
