You need to understand that we can talk whatever shite we want, and there's not a single damn fanbase in the country that can say anything about it. It's not insecurity, it's earned bragging rights and shite talking. You LSU people would do well to learn that concept.
Awe, give him a break. We knew the jig was up on Chavis in October, 2007. They went on later to hire him anyway and then get embroiled in a lawsuit with him. They know better than anyone that the folks running their AD haven't always been the sharpest tools in the shed. A little face-saving is to be expected.

The guy was throwing the ball 50+ times a game with John Parker Wilson as his QB. It would be like LSU throwing the ball 50+ times a game with Danny Etling. LSU fans would be calling for the OC's head if they did that.
