Have you been watching the combine any? Ford and Clowney are friends, said the comment means Clowney has all the athleticism in the world, but needs better technique. Ford and Clowney have been around each other most of the morning cutting up.
Ford wasn't allowed to participate in the combine because of a herniated disk. He will participate on march 4th, when they expect him to be fully healthy.

theres no way he made the HOF is there? I mean he only did 16 reps at the combine. I wouldn't think someone who only did 16 reps would have ebough work ethic to be a HOFer.... He is in the HOF because he was better than the guy he lined up against most of the time, just like Clowney will be.

That's just Ford trying to kiss up to Clowney to get a reference on a Pro Team one day, whenever a doctor clears him to play again, he'll need friends with influence in the Pros. I think Ford just realized he stepped too far and that Clowney's influence could crush him.
Notice Clowney hasn't even commented on Ford's comment yet. If Clowney came out with a comment like,
"wow, Ford was the Pre Combine Champion, but what happened, #checksthemoughcan'tcash" Ford's stock would plummet even farther.

I've never really paid attention to the usce posters because South Carolina is never really a challenge to Auburn, but I have to say yall are some whiny bitches. Ford plays harder than Clowney & also made a bigger impact on each respective team than him.
