Meh, more like a program ACL injury that will heal.
My guess is he interviewed well, had dirt on Jacobs, or was cheap. Who knows?

Lord knows Turner Gill could have.... and probably wouldn't have gone winless in the SEC two seasons later. (yeah, yeah, the 2010 title was 50% Newton and Chiz's staff was the whole reason Cam went there but still).

not saying he would have won the NC but to say he is a horrible coach after what he did at Buffalo and then comparing the train wreck at KU may say more about KU then his coaching. I think the fat man at KU won't do much better and most would consider him a good coach. NOt great
