The guy they would consider the best player on the NC team was probably the guy who won the Heisman. [/quote]
A more proper way of defining this would be the player who will get drafted the highest and make the most money from the reigning national championship team. Until the arrest, and I am a LSU fan but hope this does not ruin this chances to make a great living playing pro ball.
This is not a violent crime and sad that drugs are involved. Shows very poor judgment for a player due to make millions a year.
Time will tell if this drops his draft status and good luck to Cam.

quote:I don't see anyone defending the guys. It's just not a huge story. It was essentially a possession charge until they realized that one of the guns was reported stolen. As far as I know, we don't know how Cam got the gun, yet.
What I always find amusing when these things happen is how the fans of the certain school involved ALWAYS defend their guys. We all do it but it's still kind of funny.

He is a offensive linemen. Most people couldn't name the starting left tackle on their own team. If it was a big name QB or RB, it would be bigger news (across the nation, it is pretty big news in SEC country though).

The fact that Robinson ran his mouth about LSU all last season probably gives LSU fans a reason to react to this. Just saying.

How much national attention did Auburn get for all the players they have had in trouble?

No gasmask no care

bullshite. LSU fans vilify every player from the state that doesn't choose them.

Reese Davis helpin' keep it on the DL...

It's not shocking news. It's the same reason Bama cheating stories don't blow up like they did when Saban first got there.

it's been covered although not to LSU fan's satisfaction. Enough coverage in the opinion of LSU fans would mean that every mayor in America would be discussing these arrests at the next city council meeting, the police all across America were saying the latest news about these arrests through their sirens, the church bells were playing music about these arrests and I'm not sure what else.

Is that even "news?"

REC doing work as always. Bama has a coach kicked out for NCAA recruiting violations and almost zero coverage. Same here with drugs, two guns, one of which was stolen, limited coverage with carefully worded headlines.
It's nice to run the mother fvckin world. Bow down.

Bear controlled media made a deal with the REC. We suppress the reports of the arrests and they order their minions at the NCAA to make the investigation go away. Honestly, I don't see how anyone could think it was anything else.
