I haven't had much exposure to Clemson fans, but I have seen the degenerate, delusional Bama fans that post on here. That in itself is enough to pull for Clemson

I think a lot of people may have Bama fatigue. I understand this after having people root against Tebow for the same reason. Just tired of hearing so much about them. I would be happy with a Bama win, but it doesn't help Florida either way imo.

I'm openly supporting Bama. Only because it's Clemson.
As a USC alumnus, I support whatever is in the best interest of the Gamecocks. That means:
1. Clemson needs to fail.
2. The SEC should not be dominated by one team -- so ordinarily, I root against Bama. Happy that we have a winning streak against the Tide -- albeit a short one.
3. The SEC should not be expanded -- especially with contenders. How anyone could think adding teams beyond the 12 needed for a championship game is beyond me. We are fans and alumni -- we never see the additional money -- in fact, it is costing us more to go the games (although I am happy that SEC Network money allowed USC to build competitive facilities). Plus the issues of rarely playing some conference opponents.
4. Considering our record against Texas A&M and the distance for travel, I would be happier either contracting to 12 or making Mississippi State our permanent West opponent again.
That being said, I grudgingly admit that IMHO Saban and Dabo are the two best head coaches in college football.
Oh, and I hate neutral site games except for bowl games and the final championship game.

The Alabama program has snowballed to a point where it's on auto pilot, you would have to be a bad coach to lose a game with your roster. Anytime one team has double the talent of the next closest, the system is broken. This is great for Alabama fans, but gets old for everyone else.

I'll be straight up with you and tell you that I don't really like Clemson. But dammit I fricking hate Alabama. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are, I will NEVER cheer for Alabama. I hope 1/9 is as bad for yall as it was for us 5 years ago you motherfricking gumps.

It has nothing to do with Clemson. I dislike dynasties other than my team. I did not like Nebraska in the 80's. I hated Florida in the 90's. Never liked USC, Miami, and dislike Bama now.

Bama winning hurts my team considering we recruit against them and also happen to play in the same division as them.

The one reason I think that we have a 25 player limit for many years now is because Bear Bryant would bring in 60 to 70 players a year and process just like Saban does now. Almost like a tryout camp.
