Because with the most inept offensive scheme imaginable, we could've if not should've won the last two in TS.

We aren't just going to beat Alabama, we are going to beat them down.

LSU is the only team that has close to the same talent as Bama

Wrong USC has more talent than LSU and we know what happen in that game, i expect the same in this one.

I suggest quit looking at stars and watch what's on the field. That is hilarious putting USC anywhere near the top 5

If you look at the last year of each program, there are more similarities with USC than you think.

Every game of ours is like this. Any loss is catastrophic.
I remember when Saban was with us he said after a loss "Football is not Hamlet, you can live to play another game". Lighten up a little.

Why look at just the last year? That's the whole point. Quality depth.

The point is for us, at this point, losing a game means the world crashing down from the media to the fans to whatever else. So, they deal with that pressure every week.

This game scares me! I think we will win, but it will be very close. This is a rejuvenated LSU team that is playing for pride and for their new coach that they probably want to keep.
Adding in a passing game that they haven't ha makes them more dangerous. If Bama can disrupt that with the front 7 then that might be the difference in the game.
I expect this to be a classic!

For some strange reason I'm thinking our players bus never makes it to the stadium.

What are you guys up to?

I expect O to put both Lynyrd and Guice on the field at the same time. Sounds like a good plan before the game starts, probably not so much in the actual game execution. They're gonna need folks to disrupt penetration and taking receivers off the field to provide protection may be their undoing.

Why are so many LSU fans here confident we will beat Bama?
Because LSU has been a mirror image of Bama for a few years now, minus a serviceable passing game which they now have. It comes down to which QB makes the most mistakes in this one. Or kicker .

One of the few intelligent posts from a Bama poster. I was surprised Bama fans were literate but I think the ones here went to middle school from I can tell.

On the record, Bama is clearly the best team in the nation but post-Miles, LSU is a very different team on offense post-Miles. LSU D is better than Bama if they don't look confused like the beginning of the Ole Piss game. To be clear, I think LSU can win if LSU's O-line does its job and Etling doesn't make any big mistakes like a pick six.

I keep telling my girlfriend LSU will steamroll her Tide because if it happens

Win or lose, you still get to steam roll her. Either way, make her swallow and like it! Or make her lick this
