Meh most of it is just having fun running our mouths. It's just there is a little more mystery here with Les gone. I don't really think we win I hope. For instance I knew we would whip Ole Miss and I knew with Les on the sideline we would lose to Auburn. Now like you said we have a punchers chance to beat the gumps. But why just stop there and not do some trash talking that is what this board if far apparently. That is what makes it entertaining.

This needs to be a weird game with crazy bounces and Bama making some unusual mistakes for The Tigers to be in it.

I think that LSU certainly has a chance to win the game. The last 4 games at Tiger Stadium have all been dead even with Alabama making plays to win at the end in 3 of them and LSU in 1. I expect similar this go round and whoever makes plays in the last 7 minutes will win the game.

I am not confident. I expect LSU to get physically trucked. If not, all the better but I think that the Bama DL is going to slap the LSU OL all around the field. I also believe that the LSU defense will do fine against the Bama offense. Not looking for a shutout but holding Bama to 21 points or less is reasonable. I just don't know if LSU offense can put up more than 10 points. The games are won on the lines of scrimmage and Alabama is better and deeper there. We shall see.

LSU has a better chance than anyone left on Alabama's schedule to pull off the upset

I'd add Auburn to that, not so much because I think they're particularly strong this year, but because it's a true rivalry - and they're strong enough.

Truth. LSU generally does a pretty good job being disciplined and containing mobile QBs.

I think the best thing LSU has going for them on offense is the lack of tape for Saban to break down to find tendencies to exploit. Ensminger might be able to throw Alabama a few unexpected curves.

We have nothing to lose right now tbh. We arent defending champs, we are not in consideration right now for a playoff bid. We are barely in consideration for the SEC championship game. Bama has everything to lose. Its going to be close and its going to be a dog fight. If LSU can spread them out and force them to actually defend our recievers and not play man all game. LSU has a chance. If bama can get away with playing man on the outsides and loading the box, the game is history and we will not win. Thats the x factor to the game.

I'm not I give us a 20% chance of winning.

This board has gone to shite though, it's 100% trolling. I imagine that's most of what you're referring to.

LSU, is pissed and its at their house at night. Alabama also does not have the talent edge over LSU that we have against most teams. I still think Bama wins, but should be a great game.

At skill positions I agree, but I think people tend to overlook the talent you guys have hoarded on the both sides of the line of scrimmage. I don't think we are equal there and that is where you have been kicking our tails.

Every game of ours is like this. Any loss is catastrophic. Our guys are pretty used to that by now.

It doesn't have to be like that. Each poster is responsible for their history and image and folks choose whether to troll the board like a high school kid trying to look like a cool arse or a football fan looking to debate with opposing fanbases. It sucks when over half the board is "you scared" or other childish trolls.

This is a smack talking board, but realistically any LSU fan with half a brain, which seemingly at times there aren't many here, can't be confident.

This.

Not this. Since 2000, beginning of the Saban era in SEC, there have been 17 LSU/BAMA games. Coaching records are as follows

Saban - 11 wins (7 Bama, 4 LSU)
Miles - 5 wins
Francionne - 1 win

So in 17 games Saban has won 11 of them and two of them he was not in the league. Leslie Miles won those two. Saban 11 for 15 in this game. Maybe this is our year!

Wishful thinking.

Do we stand a chance? Yes
Do I want to beat Bama? Yes

Would I bet on LSU? No

I'm not confident we will win, but I am confident that we CAN win.
