The bar is set pretty low in the East. You act like Spurrier is coaching the Gators and they are some juggernaut.
I don't understand the Georgia hype either and the jury is out on Smart. Then again, McIlwain does have that beaver like dentition going for him but not much else.

Jacob Eason... there isn't a more talented QB in the league

Think Bama 2008. Pretty good players already there and Kirby can put in a few of his blue chip freshman he just recruited. They will definitely be better. Tell me why they won't be better? And don't give me this Kirby isn't a good coach line. The jury is still out on Kirby and no one knows which way his career will go at this point.

in college football you can be very good with a good QB.. Eason has a great arm and should be very good his 2nd year. They will be better if for no other reason than stated above in having Eason and the RB's back..

Increased athletes and size on the offensive line plus the fact that a lot of teams in the east are losing a lot. I don't believe we are going to turn it around this year.
Without digesting the schedule I can see 9 maybe 10 wins and then as this class becomes sophomore and Juniors and a couple of more crops of recruits coming in that we start really competing for that top level.

We've had highly ranked recruiting classes and has most of this recruits stayed and not done stupid things we would be much better.

okay forevergator tell us after losing all of the players you have lost on defense over the last two years why your defense with be worth a shite. and everyone knows your offense hasn't been worth a shite and won't this year either. so tell me where your optimism is coming from.

It's very simple. Look at the UGA roster and UF roster. One roster of talent is going up while the other is going down.
He went out and acquired a senior punter and kicker who both have very strong legs to replace the previous ones.
Smart is relentless with this roster. He is hellbent on maximizing every position group possible.
