He doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt nor does he deserve a second chance. We gave him a chance to turn his career around and he put himself in a situation where he's now made himself and the school a national laughing stock. frick him. Let him play D2 or suck dicks. I don't care. Just don't want him anywhere near Oxford.

Well considering he was arrested, there's video of him getting in a fight he could have (and should have) just walked away from, and he has a history of this kind of behavior, I don't want him anywhere near our locker room.

Only OM fan I've seen defending Kelly is Fireman17...and he is proven mentally challenged....so there's that.

Players used to do this type of stuff all the time but there wasn't twatter twatting out twats about it and posting on seemetube.

20 year old college kid goes to bar gets in trouble and arrested on some minor stuff college kids tend to get arrested for.

Why should I care? Did he beat up some cop? There is no reason to rush to judgement. I don't know anything about the kid other than he can throw a football and he likes to party.

Maybe a change of atmosphere could be good for the kid. Maybe not.

Swag out.

I think the AK-47 comment is what makes this particular situation so egregious. He doesn't say that and none of us really care about this.

We just watched a Saban video the other day on this site where Saban got all emotional about giving kids a chance.

An Aubie posted it.

Let Freeze do his job and let the police and courts do theirs. JMO.

I just don't get the faux outrage over a few words screamed at a bouncer @ 3 am by a 20-year old.

shite gets screamed at bouncers @ 3 am, consistently

the school a national laughing stock

Wait so people actually care what other people think about the school/team?

We are fricking ole miss. We are/always will be a national laughing stock. In the nations eyes we are fat poor racists that live in trailer parks and suck at everything. So why care if people laugh at us for taking a chance on a kid?

I'm blaming this as him being at home and being stupid. MAYBE just maybe if he were to get to Oxford and be surrounded by the right people and we have our bear biased media then we can hide all of his frick ups.

And I'm not joking I don't give a frick. I just wanna win football games. frick the haters.

I don't need Freeze to form my own opinion. I don't want Kelly. I was all for giving him a second chance but he can't even wait 5 days before making us a laughing stock? Bye Felicia.

Get him down here where we can teach him how to party like a Reb.

I'm defending him. Let the staff gather all the facts before some spur of the moment decision is made. Freeze giving him a scholarship while knowing Kellys' reputation and previous incidents just goes to show what little confidence he has in Kincaide and Buchanon. I have a strong feeling that he'll get another chance

his past history is a pretty big reason to just break ties now. He's had multiple chances to get his act together. Regardless of whether he actually threatened to shoot up the bar, he definitely was involved in an altercation with bouncers where he could have avoided the situation entirely. For instance, Ryan Perrilloux was only cited one time for anything illegal (using a fake ID at a casino), but you can only give kids so many chances. Kelly has shown over the course of the past few years that he is extremely immature and not interested in making intelligent decisions. Honestly, given his track record at Clemson, he's lucky Ole Miss gave him the chance they did. Clearly, Kelly's time in Juco wasn't the wake-up call he needed. He seems like a very spoiled, entitled punk, and if I was an Ole Miss fan I wouldn't want to have that cancer on my football team. Just my two cents.
