That's true. The way I worded it was blunt - hopefully I cleaned it up a little better in my above post.

Football/Bryant was going to be second fiddle as long as Rupp was there and hell, who could blame UK. You had 1958 Bear Bryant, not 1978 Bear Bryant. Nobody in their right mind would have viewed him in the same light as Rupp.

It just seems like things have gotten stale. I've always been a Miles supporter but maybe it is time for Les and LSU to part ways.

Kind of what my thinking is, but the first half of the A&M game gave me some hope they will change. Didn't just bang his head, running up the middle every play. Would like to see another year, but won't be passed if he leaves. I am tired of the lack of QB development.

Tubby left on his own. We didn't get rid of him.
What would you call les going to Michigan? The tubby/les situation is identical

Tubby went 9 seasons without better than an Elite Eight at a blueblood school. That'd be about the equivalent of Les making no better than the Cap One for the same amount of time after a national championship.

So no, not really.

Momma called.

There was nothing they could do.

That's right.

I can only speak for myself here no delusion needed. I love Les and for one do not want to see him going to Michigan. But, I am not naive to know that this will more than likely be the last calling if that call indeed comes. He is 61 and I would not blame him one bit in wanting to end his career at Michigan.

He has his flaws but he has been nothing but a winner here! The d bags trying to push him out the door have no remembrance of the 90's and early 2000's. Trust me I do all to painfully well.

tubby had 5 SEC and 1 national championship in 10 years, with his most recent SEC title 3 years before he left

LES has had 2 SEC and 1 national championship in 10 years

And you played in the BCS championship game in 2011 as well. So hardly identical circumstances.

If we're comparing fanbases, program expectations, and situations then it's LSU.
