Why Alabama Is So Strong

Over the last couple of years, I have noticed that Alabama is just stronger than everyone else. There has to be something that they are doing differently. Everyone works out. What is Alabama's secret?
This Men's Health article gives good insight into how the S&C Coach, Scott Cochran, goes about his work. Perhaps the secret is him?

Either Alabama is just better at S&C with the talented players they have or steroids are involved. Because Bama is just bigger, faster, stronger.

Highest paid S&C staff in the country. That could have something to do with it. Also the highest rated players from high school who are generally stronger than the players around them.

Because they are strong if their teammates are strong. Since all of them are strong, they strong then.

Having a great S&C coach definitely helps, but it's so much easier when you're training a bunch of 5-star genetic freaks.

Was going to mention this. If you sign the biggest and strongest and have the best S&C program, you will have the strongest players.

And more money spent on recruiting and facilities, training and support, etc, than anyone else. And, Alabama is a money making machine, but they invest in it like crazy.
Pretty amazing.
Who else could even replicate this on this scale? Texas? Ohio State?
That's about it.

Wish we would have kept him.
LSU remains the only team that can physically line up with Alabama and compete, but Bama's DLine have dominated LSU's OLine for a few years now and Bama's LB's are ridiculous. We can stop them but cannot score on them. So, the results remain the same and the gulf widens.

I'm sitting here marveling over the dominance that is Alabama football - which has nothing to do with you - and you just have to be ... you.
It is an objective fact that Alabama football is in a whole other realm right now. I can admit it and give credit where it is due. Alabama fans who live vicariously through that and put down others are pretty sad, though - especially when the program is being praised.
