Charles E Coates. Not a great record but a fine man....

Stallings, Bryant, Jordan, Neyland, Wallace Wade, just to name a few.
I'd say Miles, he doesn't seem like the bitter or angry type. Most coaches in the SEC, I believe, have charities; so I imagine those that receive their help would consider any and all of them classy.
It also depends on how you define "class", which is sort of amorphous. One person's "classy" individual is another's "classless". I'm sure a lot of people have a negative opinion of Coach Bryant. Why? Did they know the man, or are they upset he beat them a lot? Or were they told by someone in their family that they "knew" he cheated, and therefor it had to be true?

Didn't have anything against GC when he was Auburn's coach. Gus seems cool as well.

Miles is not classless, but I'm not sure he has the chest to be called classy. Also, I'm guessing the staff didn't do this without Miles approval. Not terrible, but not what I would call classy.

Coach Bryant wins just based on what he did for Kent Waldrep at TCU.

I'm going to have to say no on Malzahn - calling out players for "fake" injuries while his own team has already been guilty of it doesn't strike me as terribly classy.

You could make a case for Don Faurot, if you're talking football coaches. Class act, involved with Mizzou for most of his life, did a lot for the Blue-Gray game in Alabama too. Served in the military, well respected.
Dan Devine deserves a mention too, even with the whole Rudy thing, which bothered him a lot.

God I hadn't thought of that game in years. When did it end? The 90s? I remember as a kid it always came on on Xmas Day and it was on in the background at my grandmother's house.

No kidding. Not only was the entire Devine angle BS (it was his idea), but Rudy turned out to be a bit of a con man as well and got indicted by the (other) SEC for securities fraud a few years ago.
It's a decent story, but the guy pretty much is a huckster who spent every ounce of energy after graduating trying to sell his story as both a book and a movie.
Devine was a much better man than I would've been to take it in stride and not make a huge public deal out of it.

To be perfectly honest, I really like Les Miles. He's a good guy

meh, that was the strength and conditioning coach and that wasn't broadcasted to the public. someone just took a picture in the weight room and posted it in the media. tommy moffit was there before miles. i don't think there's anything wrong with holding your players accountable behind closed doors. it was also in the off season. les has a documented history of going out of his way to defend his players. i've rarely seen him as pissed off as he was when a reporter in a press conference called russell shepard a bust.
