He was still short and unpleasant with people including myself from what I observed. Anyway... Y'all love him. Nobody else does. Agree to disagree.
I'm just messing with you.

Honestly, he is a nice guy with good values or from what I have witnessed.

He does seem like he has a bit of an introvert personality and isn't as outgoing as some of the other coaches on his staff (this is just my opinion). This may be what is hurting him in recruiting.

Out of all of the coaches I met, I like Coach Hevesy the most.

I own numerous maroon cowbells but only one white one. Has Hevesey's sig on one side and Mullen's on the other. Both are very nice to meet. My kids had their pics taken with Mullen, Wilson, Hevesey and Mirando. My favorite Hevesey moment was during the headsetgate game this year at AU. Hevesey was about to come across the field and knock Cheesedik's teeth back in.

Rebelgator, we all know you are going to one-up what anyone else says so can we just agree to disagree here?

This was the headphone incident.

I saw Hevesy grab a golfcart from someone and it was like in one of those car chase movies like "I need this get the frick out" and the guy just gave over the golf cart and stood there like "ummm what do I do now?" I laughed my arse off witnessing that.

Maybe that was what it was. It wasn't anything he said, but just overall tone and body language. Just seemed genuinely unpleasant. Maybe he's changed since then. I wouldn't know, but given the media sound bites I doubt it.

He turned you down when you asked for his autograph? poor thing

He's actually a decent fella. SOme of my family met him right before the season & he took a picture with my 17 month old and signed autographs on a pic frame that my wife gave me for my bd in Aug. Thet said he was genuine about it.

Some people that are introverts almost get exhausted having to over exert themselves in certain settings. If he has any introvert tendencies, he is working them hard, being a college coach in the SEC. He has to give speeches, be in the spotlight, talk to these players and their families during recruitment, etc.

The guy is good for MSU and I understand why some other SEC fans don't like him, but I am a fan and support him.

LSU thinks Alabama is their rival

I can honestly say that I don't know a single LSU fan that thinks LSU-Alabama is a rivalry. It's a big game, but so are Auburn and Florida (in most years).

No spin. I will say it wasn't the time nor place to be getting autographs. Wasn't just some public event.

If those are, so are Arkansas and Ole Miss. So..out of the teams we regularly play only MSU isn't a rival? A meetup with a rival is supposed to be something out of the ordinary. Those games are supposed to be a bigger deal than a typical conference game. The reality is that none of them are. They're all just games.

i have no problem claiming ole miss as our rival.

me neither.

I also have no problem with Tulane as LSU's rval.

I don't even have a problem with A&M as a rival.

Look at UGA, they have 3 rivals - GTech, UF and Auburn. And I believe they have the same win% vs GTech as LSU has vs Ole Miss.
