The NOLA hate in louisana has been around for a very long time. I think it was Huey Long who said north louisiana hates south louisiana. South Louisiana hates north louisiana, and they both hate new orleans....

There are very few Tulane fans in New Orleans these days. The vast majority of college football fans in New Orleans are LSU fans.
This has changed a lot since the 70's and 80's when it was closer to 50/50 IMO....

There's a pretty lengthy interview with him on youtube where he discusses the SEC. He said he has Alabama 1st in the west and A&M second. He said after that you have 5 good teams and there's very little separating those 5. He actually said he wanted to have the other 5 tied for third lol.
